Having worked in nearly all aspects of our business and pretty much carried out every role, I have accumulated huge amounts of experience and understanding of what makes a great performance in our industry.

People development is at the core of our business and we take pride in our ability to take on inexperienced new recruits and turn them into successful estate agents.

Our training department

We pride ourselves on our effective induction process, which really sets us apart from other agents and employers.

New starters spend the first week and a half of their employment in a training room learning about the company, our history, our culture and what it is that makes us so successful. Our new starters will also start to learn the technical aspects of our business and the relevant sales skills which they will need in their forthcoming role.

Once they graduate from the initial induction course, our newbies go into their relevant office, but continue their development through our New Entrant Learning Programme designed to fine tune the skills which they are beginning to master. By following this programme over the first 6 months in the role, we are able to help our newest staff members develop at a pace suited to them.

From six months onwards, everyone has their own individual Personal Development Plan which reflects their strengths and weaknesses, their personal ambitions and maps out areas they can continue to develop - with our full support of course.

Our training team runs different sessions for various groups and job roles on a monthly basis; whether it be for Negotiators, Property Valuers, Branch Managers or Area Directors. Ths could be refresher training all the way to learning new skills regarding recent innovation in the business.

We have a strong people culture and believe in our employees who drive the business forward month on month, year on year. We are always on the look out for new talent, so please feel free to contact your local branch if you fancy a career within real estate.

We really don’t care if you have any sales experience or not, in fact we would prefer that you are not an existing estate agent! We pride ourselves on producing some of the finest estate agents in the industry, and certainly among the best in the region, by training and developing individuals from scratch.

Some of our recent top performers have come from care professions, the travel industry, and traditional manual jobs – and we have been delighted to give them the knowledge, skills and tools that have enabled them to progress with us.

Due to a record breaking year, we are expanding! This means we need more great people to join us. We are specifically looking for people to join our March and Chatteris teams, but we would love to hear from anyone in the region!

In return, we would give you every opportunity to succeed and the chance to grow your career in whatever direction you choose - be it as a Sales Negotiator, a Lettings Negotiator, a Mortgage Consultant or a Property Valuer. Progression through to management is available to all who have the right attributes with nearly all our 24 branches being managed by staff who began their career with us as trainees.

Earnings potential is unlimited, but you could expect a basic salary initially in the region of £18,000 – but we would all be disappointed if you were only earning that!
